The production area consists of several sectors such as the purification of insulin crystals and the manufacturing of injections, lyophilised, ovules and suppositories.

The biotechnological pilot plant is a new premise in Buenos Aires and was finally installed in 2006. This unit has last generation equipments that make it possible to develop the modern molecules. Nowadays it has more than 150 persons and an output of 1,200,000 monthly units.
The non hormonal transdermal area of this plant was audited by regulatory authorities of the European Community (Germany) and transdermal systems are exported to Europe from this area
In the transdermal area, estradiol patches, alone and in combination with norethindrone, are manufactured, for the treatment of post-menopause.
In Cañada Rosquín (San Martín district) the first precipitate of bovine or porcine origin is obtained.
This is achieved from the respective pancreas by a demanding extraction method using appropriate and highly controlled equipments.Once the product is approved, it is sent to San Juan Avenue premisesin refrigerating devices for its chromatographic purification and the manufacture of the final product. Crystals of human semi-synthetic insulin are obtained from porcine insulin through an enzymatic process.
